Terms and Conditions

By commissioning a song from Your Special Song, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clarity around ownership, usage, and the responsibilities of both parties.

1. Song Ownership & Usage Rights
Upon full payment, you receive ownership of the final song (lyrics, melody, and vocal performance) for personal use—such as weddings, events, private gifts, or social media sharing.

Commercial use (e.g. in advertisements or merchandise) requires a separate license. Please contact us if this applies.

2. Copyright & Performance Rights
Your Special Song retains copyright over the composition and arrangement. Songs may not be resold, reproduced, or distributed for commercial purposes without written consent.

If publicly performed, credit must be given to Your Special Song. No license is required for private use.

3. Confidentiality & Privacy
Your story is safe with us. We will never share your details or your song publicly without your explicit written permission.

4. Refund Policy
Because each piece is bespoke, all sales are final once songwriting has begun. That said, reasonable revisions are always offered to ensure your satisfaction.

5. Payment & Fees
A 50% deposit is required to begin. The remaining balance is due upon final delivery. We accept USD and EUR.

6. Delivery & Turnaround Time
Typical delivery is 3–5 weeks. Rush options are available at an additional cost. Final songs are delivered digitally in WAV and MP3 formats.

7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms. Clients will be notified of any updates relevant to their commission. Changes will never apply retroactively to existing projects unless mutually agreed.
